FAQ's
1. What is coaching and how is it different from therapy or mentoring?
Coaching is a forward-focused, thought-provoking process that empowers you to unlock your potential and take action. Unlike therapy, it doesn't focus on healing the past. And unlike mentoring, a coach doesn't give advice, instead, they help you find your own answers.
2. Who do you typically work with?
I work with professionals, founders, and leaders who are navigating change — whether that's a career transition, scaling or exiting a business, or stepping into a new leadership role. If you're ready to grow, coaching can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
3. What can I expect from a coaching session?
Each session is a confidential space where we'll explore your goals, challenges, and mindset. You'll leave with clearer thinking, practical actions, and a sense of direction. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and held via Zoom.
4. How long does a coaching engagement last?
It depends on your goals. Some clients see significant results in 6 months, while others prefer ongoing support over 12 months. We'll tailor the approach to suit your pace, needs, and ambition.
5. How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you're feeling stuck, facing a major decision, or simply want to grow with more intention, coaching can help. I offer a free discovery call so you can experience the approach and see if it's the right fit for you.
6. What results can I expect from coaching?
While results vary by person, clients often report increased clarity, stronger confidence, improved decision-making, and greater alignment between their values and actions. You'll define your own goals, and coaching will support you in achieving them.
7. Is everything we discuss confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is foundational to coaching. Everything shared in our sessions remains strictly between us, in line with professional coaching ethics and standards.
8. What approach or methodology do you use?
My coaching style blends evidence-based frameworks with deep listening, reflective questioning, and practical action. I draw from change coaching models, leadership development, and mindset work — always tailored to you and your context.
9. Can my organisation sponsor my coaching?
Absolutely. Many of my clients are sponsored by their company as part of leadership development or during key transition periods. I'm happy to provide proposals or updates as needed while maintaining confidentiality.
10. What happens if I'm not sure coaching is working for me?
That's completely okay. Coaching is a collaborative process. If at any point it doesn't feel aligned, we'll discuss it openly. My goal is to ensure you get value — and that means working with honesty and transparency throughout.
